Bernie Sanders

I am not into politics and have never been into politics.  I voted for Obama in 2012 and I knew a little about his stance and what he thought about certain issues but never didn't think I would be that into it as I am this year. I went to the rally at the convention center this past Tuesday and I waited in line for 4 hours to hear Bernie speak. I was ready to give up and go home because I didn't think we would get in but I am glad I stayed. The environment was fun and we met some great people there. I think that Bernie is the best candidate because I feel he is more trustworthy thank Hillary, has a better mindsets then Trump, and doesn't think that God should be involved like Cruz. He wants to make college affordable and help out those who are retired. He is trying to make changes for all ages. Many are worried because he calls himself a democrat-socialist and even though that's the case our country will not become a socialist country.
Overall, I would probably not come to another rally but it was an experience that I am glad that I had.

With the blink of an eye

It is so interesting how different things can be in a matter of a day. This morning I was driving to work thinking of the day when I would walk into your store and tell you I was getting married. Then, by the end of the night, I'm thinking of the ways to move out of my house because you aren't ready for commitment. Who knows where my life will be or how it will turn out?
All I know is that by this time next year, I'll either be single and alone or moved into a new place and ready for a new chapter in my life. Either way, I know that I will be making this decision based on what's best for me.

And I'm ready for whatever it is.

Jealousy

"We may hear someone contribute something brilliant to a discussion at work, or be present for a woman to crack a funny joke and make our lover laugh and immediately feel fear. Is that person more brilliant, funny, beautiful than me? Why didn’t I think of that? Are they smarter than me? Would my lover be happier with them?

When we are jealous, instead of looking at that person who raised their hands and contributed, and saying, “Wow, that was awesome,” and not allowing it to go any further, not allowing it to take an inch of our power—we do. We let it invisibly take something away from our own brilliance.

We see the woman making our lover laugh and instead of hearing her joke and laughing alongside, we feel frozen in fear. We worry there is a better mate for our partner, and let our power run away with its tail between its legs."

Moving still.

I bared it all tonight. I told him I was scared and that I wanted what other people have. I want to be with someone who wants to travel, and dance, and spend time with my (crazy) family. And he doesn't want that. It's scary to be that close to letting go of someone who you have spent the last 4-5 years loving.
What if this is it? What if I can't remain happy with what I have? I want to live life and have great memories and experiences. I don't want to be safe. How do you move on from someone?
I decided to stay because of love. I love him and he makes me happy. But I want more. (Now do I sound like Ariel or what?). I just wanted to blog about this to say that I actually had enough courage to say this to the person I love.
Phew. That was easier written than said.

Buddy

I have a jealous dog.  There is my black and white cat (Mau) and whenever Mau gets near me or if I say hello to Mau after I have been home Buddy comes and starts kissing me or rubbing my leg.  Mau cannot have more attention than him or get noticed first; it is funny because it is clear jealousy.  I have never seen that in him before and it is kind of nice to see that my dog loves me (or maybe he is just needy).  Either way...I've got a jealous baby boy.
Let me explain this picture:
Mau is where he is.  Buddy was at the foot of my bed and laid (layed?) down.  Then he saw Mau and came where he is in the picture.  We are touching; I dont know if you can tell in the picture but he is mostly on my leg.  I am getting cuddles and I love it!
