I am becoming increasingly annoyed with my generation. There are people who use the term "adulting" (which I already dont like) for things that they assume is growing up. Ex: getting a costco membership as a present. Some of my peers are taking this word and misusing it. Being an adult is having a job or something and doing adult things. I feel so all over the place in this rant but this is just a frustrating feeling. I know what being an adult entails and stupid shit like that DOES NOT qualify as being an adult. It just doesnt. asif nqn34tsdnmgvdf nv
See that is my frustration.
Another thing: The struggle is real.
Do not use this for stupid shit either....like being out of yogurt. Get your ass up and buy some. Also, if you are a student taking only 12 units and not working, please dont bitch about being super busy. I have done 24 units working 25 hours a week so really..SHUT UP.
This rant is not done...I will add to it as more comes up.

Me Before You
First off, I loved this movie. It was romantic and gave me hope and really touched my heart. It gave me all kinds of feels because it was a romance movie with a cute story line. Throughout, you were rooting for Lou and Will-you hoped he wouldn't kill himself. But he does. And your heart breaks. But it would have been different with any other ending. I love this movie and will continue to love this movie.
However, I was in class last night and received a different perspective on this movie. I am a part of a special group of people and I work with an amazing population. In the special education/disabilities field many things are unknown to the media and general population. I was then reminded that not everyone thinks about me and this movie can display a negative image about disabilities to the public. A man wants to kill himself because he cannot walk. What a depressing thing that our society is believing is true with all individuals with disabilities. I never realized it before; I am surprised it didn't occur to me and I feel a bit guilty for it.
I wanted to just say that having a disability is not a bad thing. It is something to live with and to make the most of. Life is still worth living. I understand that in the movie there were different circumstances, but I want to stress the importance of living with a disability. I am getting a little long-winded so hopefully you get the just of what I am saying.
